An omelette is a French dish consisting of a fried homogeneous mass of eggs. The French believe that the ability to cook an omelette is an important quality of any professional cook. There are a huge number of omelette recipes.
Ingredients:
- Chicken eggs – 4 pcs.
- Cream 11% – 50 ml
- Dutch cheese – 80 g
- Hazelnuts – 50 g
- Sunflower seeds – 50 g
- Dill – 2 sprigs
- Sunflower oil – 1 tbsp.
- Nutmeg – 1 tsp.
- Dried basil – 1/4 tsp.
- Salt – 1/4 tsp.
- Ground black pepper – 1/4 tsp.
- Wheat flour – 50 g
Directions:
- In a deep bowl, mix eggs with spices, salt, and cream.
- Add flour and mix thoroughly.
- Divide the resulting dough into 4 parts.
- Make 4 omelettes: fry under a closed lid for 4-5 minutes until done.
- Grind hazelnuts using a blender. Mix with peeled seeds. Sprinkle the finished omelettes with the resulting mixture.
- Fold in half and place in a pre-greased baking dish or place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Grate the cheese. Sprinkle the omelettes with grated cheese and put in an oven preheated to 200˚C for 3-4 minutes. Garnish the dish with dill.
