Pasta Bolognese with minced meat is one of the most common pearls of Italian cuisine. The dish got its name thanks to the original meat sauce. It reflects its place of origin – the province of Bologna. It was there that this dish was invented at the end of the eighteenth century.
Ingredients:
- Minced meat – 600 g
- Tomatoes in their own juice – 500 g
- Spaghetti – 250 g
- Bell peppers – 2 pcs.
- Cheese – 100 g
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp.
- Oregano – to taste
- Basil – to taste
- Parsley – to taste
- Ground black pepper – to taste
- Salt – to taste
Directions:
- First, prepare the Bolognese sauce. To do this, peel the onion and garlic and cut into small cubes. Remove the stalk and seeds from the bell pepper. Cut the pulp into small cubes.
- Peel the tomatoes in their own juice and chop them using a blender.
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Put the chopped onion and garlic and fry, stirring, over medium heat until lightly browned. Add the minced meat here. Stir the contents of the pan with a fork. Fry over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
- Then add the chopped pepper and cook, stirring, for another 5 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes to the sauce base. Salt, pepper, add your favorite herbs, and stir. Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
- While the sauce is stewing, boil the spaghetti in boiling water (10 minutes). Then drain the spaghetti in a colander and add it to the sauce. Stir and heat over low heat.
- Serve the finished Bolognese pasta on serving plates and garnish with grated cheese. Enjoy!
