Fish In Sour Cream Sauce

Stewed fish in sour cream will be the perfect addition to your lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

  • Cod fillet 1 kg
  • Carrots 2 pcs.
  • Onion 1 pc.
  • Mayonnaise 1 tbsp. l.
  • Sour cream 2 tbsp.
  • Spices to taste

Directions:

  1. Rinse the fish fillet well under water and dry with paper towels.
  2. Then cut into medium pieces, put in a deep bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Wash and grate the carrots on a large grater, and cut the onion into half rings.
  4. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the vegetables for 5 minutes.
  5. Add sour cream, a little salt, and spices to a bowl of water and stir until smooth.
  6. The pieces of fish should be breaded in flour and fried on both sides, then add the vegetables and pour the sour cream sauce. Cover with a lid and let simmer over low heat for 25-30 minutes.
  7. After cooking, sprinkle the dish with green onions, dill, or parsley. Delicious!
