Avocado Mayonnaise

The uniqueness of avocado lies in its universal use: it is ideal for preparing delicious snacks, salads, and desserts. Also, due to its delicate oily texture, avocado is often used as a base for sauces. For example, you can make mayonnaise from avocado. The specified amount of ingredients is calculated for a 250 ml jar.

Ingredients:

  • Avocado – 1 piece
  • Vegetable oil – 200 ml
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp.
  • Sugar – 1 tsp.
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp.

Directions:

  1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and peel. Cut the pulp into random pieces and place in a blender bowl.
  2. Add lemon juice, sugar, and salt. Grind until smooth.
  3. Then add oil and beat the mixture with pulsating movements until smooth.
  4. Avocado mayonnaise is ready! It has a neutral taste with a slight sourness. This lean sauce is ideal for dressing salads with seafood, lightly salted red fish, and fresh vegetables. The finished sauce should be stored in the refrigerator in a jar with a tightly closed lid for no more than a day.
