Broccoli With Red Fish

Broccoli with red fish is a balanced dish with a bright taste and rich aroma. The dish is suitable for those who prefer to eat simply, but with taste.

Ingredients:

  • Red fish – 1 kg
  • Broccoli – 300 g
  • Cream 11% – 250 ml
  • Olive oil – to taste
  • Dried thyme – to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Salt – to taste

Directions:

  1. Fish can be baked both as a whole fillet and in portioned steaks. Rinse the fish well with cool water and gently dry it with a paper towel. Then sprinkle salt and pepper evenly on all sides. Rub a little thyme. If you have steaks, do not forget to season them on both sides so that the taste is more saturated.
  2. Take a heat-resistant baking dish and grease the bottom with olive oil. Lay out the seasoned fish in one layer. The fish should not lie too tightly so that it is baked evenly.
  3. Boil water in a saucepan – it should be enough for the broccoli to float freely. Salt the water. Put broccoli florets in boiling water – both fresh and frozen are suitable. Cook for about 2 minutes: the cabbage should become bright green, but remain elastic. Drain the water immediately.
  4. Spread the boiled broccoli in the form around the fish. Try to distribute it evenly around the perimeter so that each piece absorbs a little of the cream sauce when baking.
  5. Pour cream (250 ml) over the fish and broccoli – it should slightly cover the bottom of the mold, but not completely hide the products. Add a little salt to the cream on top to taste. Cover the form with foil and place in an oven preheated to 200 °C. Bake for about 30 minutes: the fish will be soft, and the sauce will be homogeneous and aromatic. Bon appétit!
