There is a wide range of bars with different fillings on store shelves. However, such snacks can be easily prepared at home without adding various preservatives.
Ingredients:
- Almond flour – 112 g
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
- Chicken eggs – 1 piece
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Dark chocolate – 200 g
- Coconut flakes – 70 g
- Pecans – 120 g
For caramel
- Cream 35% – 230 g
- Butter – 230 g
- Sweetener – 200 g
- Vanilla extract – 2 tsp
- Salt – 1/3 tsp
Directions:
- In a deep bowl, mix the almond flour with salt, egg, and butter. Make the dough.
- Put the resulting dough into a silicone baking mold (diameter of the mold is 20 cm). Use your hands to spread the dough along the bottom of the mold so that the thickness of the dough is approximately the same everywhere. Prick the dough with a fork. Put it in the oven preheated to 150 degrees for 20 minutes until a light golden hue appears.
- To make the caramel, put all the ingredients in a saucepan with a thick bottom and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring the mixture constantly. As soon as it thickens and its consistency resembles condensed milk, remove the saucepan from the stove and set it aside.
- Break the chocolate into small pieces. Cut the pecans in half. Place the pecans, coconut flakes, and chocolate in the baking mold with the prepared base. Pour the cream mixture over and put it in the oven for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the finished dish from the oven and let it cool at room temperature. Then put it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. After this time, take the dessert out and cut it into portioned bars.
- Ready-made bars with caramel, coconut, and pecans are a great alternative to unhealthy sweets. Creamy caramel, aromatic coconut, sweet pecans, and bitter dark chocolate form a harmonious combination of flavors.
