Cheese Muffins With Garlic

Ingredients:

  • 220 g milk
  • 3 tbsp. Greek yogurt or sour cream 10-15%
  • 4 tbsp. oil
  • 1 egg
  • 260 g flour
  • 1.5 tsp. baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp. salt
  • black pepper to taste

For the filling:

  • 150 g hard cheese
  • 5-6 sprigs of parsley
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 100 g mozzarella

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C
  2. Prepare muffin tins. For the filling, grate the cheese. Rinse the parsley, dry well and chop finely. Mince the garlic, cut the mozzarella into 12 pieces
  3. For the dough, combine the milk, yogurt or sour cream, oil, and egg in a large bowl and mix until smooth. Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually add the dry mixture to the liquid mixture and mix until all the ingredients are combined. Finally, add the grated cheese, parsley, and garlic.
  4. Put one third of the dough into the tins and place a piece of mozzarella in the center. Cover the mozzarella with the remaining dough, filling the tins almost to the edges. Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked. Cool the muffins
