Chicken Nuggets

Chicken nuggets are the perfect combination of simplicity, appetizing appearance and great taste. Making chicken nuggets at home turns into an exciting culinary process, the result of which will be a juicy snack.

Ingredients:

  • 300 g chicken fillet
  • 1 tablespoon paprika (divided into two parts)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (divided into two parts)
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 120 ml sparkling water
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 liter of vegetable oil for frying

Directions:

  1. Wash the chicken fillet.
  2. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and grind to a puree state using a blender (like minced meat).
  3. Transfer the chicken to a bowl, add half the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Form small nuggets from the resulting mass.
  5. Place them on a plate and send them to the freezer for 15 minutes.
  6. In a deep bowl, mix the flour, the rest of the paprika, garlic powder, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  7. Divide this mixture into two parts. Add soda water to one part to make a liquid mass that resembles pancake batter in consistency.
  8. Roll the cooled nuggets in the dry mixture first.
  9. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan or saucepan to a temperature of 180°C. Dip the nuggets in the batter until completely coated.
  10. Fry the nuggets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  11. Place the finished nuggets on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
