Chicken nuggets are the perfect combination of simplicity, appetizing appearance and great taste. Making chicken nuggets at home turns into an exciting culinary process, the result of which will be a juicy snack.
Ingredients:
- 300 g chicken fillet
- 1 tablespoon paprika (divided into two parts)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (divided into two parts)
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 120 ml sparkling water
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 liter of vegetable oil for frying
Directions:
- Wash the chicken fillet.
- Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and grind to a puree state using a blender (like minced meat).
- Transfer the chicken to a bowl, add half the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form small nuggets from the resulting mass.
- Place them on a plate and send them to the freezer for 15 minutes.
- In a deep bowl, mix the flour, the rest of the paprika, garlic powder, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
- Divide this mixture into two parts. Add soda water to one part to make a liquid mass that resembles pancake batter in consistency.
- Roll the cooled nuggets in the dry mixture first.
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan or saucepan to a temperature of 180°C. Dip the nuggets in the batter until completely coated.
- Fry the nuggets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Place the finished nuggets on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
