Chicken Wings In Honey-Mustard Sauce

Chicken wings in honey mustard sauce are the perfect choice for a quick and tasty dinner. The mustard adds a spicy note, and the honey adds a light sweetness.
The wings in the oven acquire a tender, juicy texture, and the skin becomes pleasantly crispy.
You can serve wings in honey mustard sauce with anything: vegetables, potatoes, rice, or crispy toast.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken wings – 12 pcs.
  • Paprika – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon mustard – 2 tablespoons
  • Honey – 2 tablespoons.
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the chicken wings with paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Mix so that the spices evenly coat the meat.
  2. In a separate container, prepare the honey-mustard sauce for the wings: whisk the mustard-honey marinade by mixing the Dijon mustard, honey, and olive oil. The sauce should be smooth.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce over the wings, mix thoroughly and leave the wings in the honey-mustard marinade for 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the air grill to 200°C (or oven).
  5. Place the wings in the mustard-honey sauce in the air grill basket in a single layer so that the hot air circulates evenly.
  6. Cook the wings in the oven for 10 minutes, then turn them over and bake for another 10 minutes until a crispy golden crust appears.
  7. Transfer the finished honey wings to a plate, drizzle with the remaining sauce, or sprinkle with fresh herbs for flavor.
