Fettuccine Alfredo With Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • Fettuccine – 230 g
  • Butter – 60 g

  • Heat cream – 80 ml
  • Large shrimp (peeled, without tails) – 450 g
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) – 60 g
  • Salt – ¼ tsp
  • Black ground pepper – ¼ tsp
  • Fresh parsley (finely chopped) – 2 tbsp.

Directions:

  1. In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil, add salt, and add fettuccine.
  2. Cook until al dente (about 10 minutes for dry pasta, 3-5 minutes for fresh). Drain water, set pasta aside.
  3. In a deep frying pan, melt butter over medium heat until bubbling. Add garlic, fry for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add vegetable stock and cream, bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Add shrimp, cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink.
  6. Add grated Parmesan cheese to the pan, and add salt and pepper. Stir to thicken the sauce (about 1-2 minutes).
  7. Add fettuccine to the sauce, stir well to coat pasta completely in cream sauce.
  8. Serve garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
