Fish In Sauce

Fish in sauce is a delicious dish that will delight all your guests. The fish will turn out to be extremely tender and tasty, and the sauce will be fragrant and elegant. The dish is not difficult to prepare, but it requires certain ingredients, without which the sauce will not turn out so tasty.

Ingredients:

  • Salmon 800 g
  • Olive oil 2-3 tbsp. l
  • Cream 200 ml
  • Dry white wine 100 ml
  • Parmesan cheese 30 g
  • Butter 25 g
  • Shallots 2 pcs
  • Garlic 65 g
  • Spinach 100 g
  • Lemon 1 pc
  • Lemon juice 1.5 tbsp
  • Dry thyme to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Basil to taste

Directions:

  1. At the first stage, we need salmon. Cut the fish into four pieces. It should be skinless and boneless. Salt, pepper, and pour lemon juice over the salmon.
  2. While the fish is marinating, we need to peel the onion and garlic. Cut the onion into small cubes, and chop the garlic into small pieces in any way.
  3. Now wash the lemon. Cut it into thin slices. You will need about six slices. Set them aside for now.
  4. Next, wash the spinach leaves. You don’t need to dry the leaves. Just chop them into small pieces with a knife.
  5. At the next stage, put a frying pan on the stove. Heat it, pour olive oil into it, and send the fish to the frying pan. Fry the pieces until a golden crust appears on both sides.
  6. After that, without washing the pan, we send butter, onion, and garlic here. Mix everything and fry until a light golden color appears.
  7. When the onion and garlic are fried, we need to add wine to them. Mix everything again and cook for a few minutes until the alcohol evaporates completely. If desired, you can use ordinary water instead of wine.
  8. Now pour cream into the pan. If you use heavy cream and the sauce turns out to be quite thick, you can pour a little water into the pan.
  9. Next, add grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black ground pepper to the sauce, as well as sprigs of thyme (they will need to be removed later). Mix everything thoroughly.
  10. After that, add spinach to the pan, as well as lemon slices. At this stage, you need to remove the thyme from the sauce.
  11. Finally, send the fish to the pan with the sauce. Cook it for a few minutes. In no case do not cook the fish for a long time, because it should not be too soft.
  12. Before serving, decorate the fish with the sauce with chopped basil leaves. The fish with sauce is ready. Enjoy!
