Mushrooms Stuffed With Tuna

Stuffed mushrooms are a great option for a portioned snack that will delight. Depending on the type of filling, this snack can be both hearty and light. We suggest you prepare a hearty option, namely stuffed mushrooms with tuna.

Ingredients:

  • Canned tuna – 85 g
  • Emmental cheese – 30 g
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • Pickled gherkins – 2 pcs
  • Onions – 10 g
  • Granulated garlic – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Ground black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Champignons – 230 g

Directions:

  1. Remove the stems from the champignons.
  2. In a deep bowl, mix the tuna with a fork. Grate the cheese on a fine grater, chop the gherkins finely with a knife. Combine the prepared ingredients.
  3. Add mayonnaise, finely chopped onion, granulated garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Stuff the mushrooms with the resulting filling.
  5. Place the blanks on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 175 degrees for 20-25 minutes until the champignons are soft.
  6. Like any hot appetizer, stuffed mushrooms should be served immediately after cooking, while the cheese remains warm and viscous. The unusual combination of tuna with tender cheese and piquant gherkins will pleasantly surprise you.
