Omelette With Cheese, Nuts and Seeds

An omelette is a French dish consisting of a fried homogeneous mass of eggs. The French believe that the ability to cook an omelette is an important quality of any professional cook. There are a huge number of omelette recipes.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Cream 11% – 50 ml
  • Dutch cheese – 80 g
  • Hazelnuts – 50 g
  • Sunflower seeds – 50 g
  • Dill – 2 sprigs
  • Sunflower oil – 1 tbsp.
  • Nutmeg – 1 tsp.
  • Dried basil – 1/4 tsp.
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper – 1/4 tsp.
  • Wheat flour – 50 g

Directions:

  1. In a deep bowl, mix eggs with spices, salt, and cream.
  2. Add flour and mix thoroughly.
  3. Divide the resulting dough into 4 parts.
  4. Make 4 omelettes: fry under a closed lid for 4-5 minutes until done.
  5. Grind hazelnuts using a blender. Mix with peeled seeds. Sprinkle the finished omelettes with the resulting mixture.
  6. Fold in half and place in a pre-greased baking dish or place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Grate the cheese. Sprinkle the omelettes with grated cheese and put in an oven preheated to 200˚C for 3-4 minutes. Garnish the dish with dill.
