Pasta With Shrimps in Creamy Sauce

Pasta with seafood is considered one of the most exquisite dishes. This dish is quite easy to prepare at home if you have the necessary ingredients and a detailed step-by-step recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Milk – 200 ml
  • Farfalle pasta – 250 g
  • Cream 11% – 150 ml
  • Northern shrimp – 1 kg
  • Onions – 1/2 piece
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Wheat flour – 1.5 tbsp.
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp.
  • Egg yolk – 1 piece
  • Dried basil – 1/2 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper – 1/2 tsp.
  • Salt – 1/3 tsp.

Directions:

  1. Boil frozen shrimp in boiling salted water (1.5 – 2 minutes). Drain and peel the shrimp.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Put the onion in the frying pan and fry, stirring until golden brown. Add the garlic and shrimp. Cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Boil water in a saucepan. Add a little salt, 1 tbsp olive oil, and pasta. Cook for 15 minutes, then drain the water.
  4. Whisk the milk with the egg yolk in a deep bowl. Add flour and mix thoroughly.
  5. Add the resulting mixture to the shrimp and reduce the heat to low. After a minute, add the cream and add the spices. Cook for 5 minutes. The sauce should thicken and acquire a delicate pink hue.
  6. Add the resulting mixture to the pan with the pasta. Mix thoroughly and serve.
  7. Pasta with shrimp in a creamy sauce should be served warm, with a glass of white wine. Smooth, tender pasta made from durum wheat is perfectly soaked in the aromatic dressing. Combined with fried salty seafood, they create a real extravaganza of taste.
