Making homemade pizza is the perfect way to have an Italian evening at home. You don’t have to be a professional pizza maker to make it, just follow our recipe. Let’s make a gourmet version of this dish that includes seafood, namely, pizza with shrimp.
Ingredients:
- Wheat flour – 100 g
- Water – 60 ml
- Dry yeast – 1/4 tsp
- Sugar – 1/4 tsp
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
For the filling:
- King prawns – 9 pcs
- Cherry tomatoes – 6 pcs
- Cheddar cheese – 30 g
- Cheese – 40 g
- Mozzarella cheese – 70 g
- Olives – 9 pcs
- Bell pepper – 1/2 pc
- Ketchup – 3 tbsp
Directions:
- Add warm water to a deep bowl. Dissolve sugar and salt in it.
- Add flour to a separate bowl. Add yeast and stir. Make a small well in the flour mixture. Pour olive oil and warm water into it.
- Start mixing the mixture with a spoon, and then start kneading the dough with your hands. You should get a soft, smooth dough that does not stick to your hands. Cover the bowl with the dough and put it in a warm place for half an hour.
- Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Defrost the shrimp, rinse and, if necessary, remove the head, shell, tail, and intestinal vein.
- Grate the Cheddar and regular cheeses on a coarse grater. Remove the stalk and seeds from the bell pepper, cut the flesh into thin strips.
- Cover the work surface with a sheet of baking paper and lightly dust it with flour. Place the dough on it and make a thin round layer with a diameter of about 24 cm. Carefully transfer the dough to a baking sheet.
Grease the pizza base with ketchup. Spread grated cheese on top, then the shrimp. - Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and spread them on the pizza together with the mozzarella balls and pitted olives. Place in an oven preheated to 190 degrees until the cheese melts (10-15 minutes). Enjoy!
