Cod liver is an offal that is a real delicacy due to its excellent taste and enormous benefits. It is a valuable source of fish oil, rich in fatty acids, vitamins A and D. This product is used to prepare many dishes.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes – 2 pcs.
- Chicken eggs – 2 pcs.
- Onions – 1 pc.
- Dutch cheese – 50 g
- Parsley – to taste
- Cod liver – 1 can
- Soy sauce – 2 tbsp.
- White sesame – 3 tbsp.
Directions:
- Peel the potatoes and boil them in boiling salted water until done.
- Let them cool completely, then grate them on a coarse grater.
- Boil the eggs, and cool them by placing them in cold water.
- Then peel the eggs and grate them on a fine grater. Grate the cheese in the same way.
- Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes. Finely chop the parsley leaves with a knife.
- Drain all the liquid from the cod liver. Place the liver in a deep bowl and mix with a fork. Put the prepared ingredients in the bowl with the liver. Add the soy sauce and mix thoroughly until smooth.
- Fry the sesame seeds, stirring, in a dry frying pan until golden brown. Place in a flat plate and let cool.
- Form small balls from the potato mass. Roll them in toasted sesame seeds, place on a serving dish, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
