If you’re tired of eating fried eggs or your doctor recommends changing your diet, you can make an omelet in the oven. And to make the dish more filling, add tender chicken fillet and hard cheese to it, in addition to vegetables.
Ingredients:
- Boneless chicken meat – 100–150 g
- Chicken egg – 2 pcs.
- Tomatoes – 1 or 2 pcs.
- Bell pepper – 1 pc.
- Cheese – 100 g
- Milk 2.5% – 100 ml
- Parsley, dill – to taste
- Salt – to taste
Directions:
- Wash the chicken, and cut it into thin slices.
- Put it in a frying pan with heated oil and fry until a golden crust forms.
- Peel and cut the bell pepper into small pieces. Add it to the frying meat.
- Chop the tomatoes.
- Mix the eggs with milk and add salt.
- Transfer the meat and pepper from the frying pan to a heat-resistant dish, add the tomatoes, pour over the mixed mixture, and sprinkle evenly with grated cheese.
- Put in the oven and bake. On average, this takes 12–15 minutes.
- Sprinkle with herbs before serving. Although there is another option: you can add the herbs to the milk and egg mixture. Then it will not be on top, but inside.
