I suggest a quick chocolate cake. It turns out very chocolatey, soft, and slightly moist.
Ingredients:
Cupcake:
- butter – 200 g
- dark chocolate – 150 g
- milk chocolate – 100 g
- milk – 200 ml
- eggs – 5 pcs.
- sugar – 180 g
- wheat flour – 260 g
- extra dark cocoa – 20 g
- baking powder – 1 tsp
Glaze:
- heavy cream – 50 ml
- butter – 1 tsp.
- 100 g dark or milk chocolate
Directions:
- All ingredients should be at room temperature. Melt butter (200 g) in a saucepan over low heat. When it is completely dissolved, add chopped dark chocolate (150 g) and milk chocolate (100 g).
- Remove from heat and stir until a smooth glaze is formed.
- Add milk (200 ml) to the melted chocolate and stir. If you do not want to mix the chocolate with milk, you can slightly warm it over low heat and stir. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Beat eggs (5 pieces) with sugar (180 g) at high speed of the mixer.
- After a few minutes, a light, fluffy egg mass should form (the sugar should dissolve well).
If the contents of the saucepan have already cooled slightly, pour it into the egg mass in small portions, stirring carefully. - We mix only until the ingredients are combined. Add wheat flour (260 g), cocoa (20 g, preferably Extra
- Dark or Black) and baking powder (1 tsp) and mix again with a whisk just until the ingredients are combined (this must be done very carefully).
- Pour the dough onto a sheet (in my case, a baking dish with a diameter of 24 cm), lined with baking paper. Bake for about 40-45 minutes at 170 degrees.
- When we take the dough out of the oven and it cools down a bit, we start preparing the chocolate glaze.
- In a small saucepan, heat the cream (approximately 50-70 ml) and add butter (1 tsp). When both ingredients are heated, add finely chopped chocolate (about 100 g) and immediately remove it from the stove. Mix everything until you get a chocolate glaze.
- Before decorating the chocolate cake with icing, check if it has cooled down enough.
- Decorate the top with icing.
- If desired, you can decorate the top with chocolate chips or grated chocolate.
Enjoy!
