Regardless of the recipe, meat bread is an excellent alternative to store-bought sausages, which often contain preservatives and flavor enhancers.
Ingredients:
- Turkey stuffing – 700 g
- Onion – 1/2 head
- Garlic – 6 cloves
- Ketchup – 60 g
- Dried basil – 1/2 tsp.
- Dried rosemary – 1/2 tsp.
- Dried thyme – 1/2 tsp.
- Granulated garlic – 1 tsp.
- Sea salt – 1.5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper – 1/2 tsp.
- Almond flour – 56 g
- Chicken eggs – 2 pcs.
For baking
- Bacon – 10 slices
- Barbecue sauce – 60 g
Directions:
- Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Put ground turkey, almond flour, chopped onion and garlic, eggs, salt, spices, and ketchup in a deep bowl. Mix thoroughly.
- Form a small loaf from the resulting mass and place it on a baking sheet. On top, lay out the bacon slices in one overlapping layer, carefully tucking the ends under the bread. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Then take out the baking sheet and with the help of a culinary brush, fry the dish with barbecue sauce. Bake for another 25-30 minutes. Take the finished meatloaf out of the oven and leave it at room temperature for 10 minutes.
