Viennese Strudel

Strudel is not very difficult to prepare, as it does not require any unusual ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • flour – 250 grams
  • eggs – 1 pc
  • water – 1 tbsp
  • butter – 50 grams
  • salt – to taste
  • apples – 4-5 pcs
  • sugar – 50 grams
  • raisins – 50 grams
  • dried apricots – 50 grams
  • ground walnuts – 50 grams
  • cinnamon – to taste

Directions:

  1. Dissolve the salt in water. To make the dough, mix the flour, egg, and salted water. Mix thoroughly, add oil. After that, the dough should rest for 30 minutes.
  2. At this time, set the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Cut the apples into small cubes, and chop the dried apricots into arbitrary pieces. Mix the dried fruits with apples, sugar, and cinnamon together.
  3. Sprinkle the work surface with flour and roll out the dough thinly. Place the filling on it and carefully wrap the strudel.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment and grease it with oil. Place the formed roll on it. Bake the dessert for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
